Frequently asked questions.
1. How long do pressed flowers last?
Pressed flowers can last for many years when properly preserved and protected from sunlight, moisture, and heat. Most pieces stay vibrant for 5–15+ years.
2. Will the colors of the flowers fade over time?
All natural flowers fade slightly with age, but careful handling help maintain their beauty for as long as possible.
3. Can I send my bouquet to be pressed?
No — at this time, we only accept flowers through local drop-off/pick-up to ensure the best quality and safe handling.
4. What types of flowers press best?
Most flowers can be pressed, but flatter blooms (like roses, peonies, delphinium, hydrangea, baby breath and greenery) produce the best results. For larger flowers, we may disassemble the petals for the most beautiful layout.
5. How should I store or display my pressed flower piece?
Keep your art out of direct sunlight, away from humidity, and display it indoors where it is dark.
6. How long does the pressing process take?
Processing and designing typically take 8–12weeks depending on the complexity, flower type, and current studio volume. Rush orders may be available.
7. What if my flowers are wilted or damaged when I drop them off?
We’ll do our best to salvage what we can. If flowers are severely damaged, we’ll contact you with options, including incorporating supplemental blooms that match your palette.
8. Can you recreate a bouquet if I don’t have the original flowers?
Absolutely — we can source fresh flowers that match your bouquet style and colors, then press them to create a keepsake piece.
9. Do you offer custom design layouts?
Yes! Every pressed flower piece is custom-designed based on your preferences—minimalist, full bloom, botanical style, or completely unique arrangements. Before anything is glued, we’ll send you a mock-up for approval so you can request any adjustments.
10. How do I care for my pressed flower artwork once I receive it?
Avoid steam, moisture, and direct sunlight. A soft, dry cloth can be used to clean the frame. Do not open the frame, as exposing the flowers to air can reduce longevity.
